I am a professional pianist, composer and teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. I studied Piano Performance and Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, Belgium, and I perform regularly while composing music for film, television and other media. Alongside my private teaching, I also teach in primary and secondary schools, supporting pupils with GCSE and A-level Music.

I believe music should be taught in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where students feel comfortable, inspired and motivated to learn. Attention to detail and good technique are important, but that doesn't mean lessons have to be strict, intimidating or overly formal. I encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence, helping every student enjoy the journey while continually developing their musical skills and reaching their own personal goals.

That is why I have introduced relaxed and informal student concerts, where the emphasis is on enjoyment, encouragement and sharing music with others.

These concerts give students the opportunity to celebrate their progress and perform for parents, family and friends in a welcoming atmosphere that builds confidence and creates positive musical memories.
